Saturnscape closes distribution arm

Unfortunately, we are not pleased to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control (see below), Saturnscape Pictures will focus solely on film production and no longer off distribution services. We thank our filmmakers that we've talked to that had faith in us and are disappointed that we could not make this effort work.

What happened?

We love physical media here and it is,,, well was the key to our distribution efforts. However, due to forces in the world, the last affordable software for indie producer to author professional DVD and Blu-ray discs blocked Dolby Audio codecs. This leaves no reliable, well-supported options for us to offer this core distribution outlet.

We hope this changes in the future or we grow large enough to afford the $20,000 software that the studios use for disc authoring.
